Colleen performs as principal horn with the Longmont Symphony and plays with the Rocky Mountain Horn Ensemble. She is also an active substitute for The Denver Brass and a sub for the Fort Collins Symphony.

Kris Shaffer, Ph.D. (Yale University, 2011), is Instructional Technology Specialist at the Division of Teaching and Learning Technologies of the University of Mary Washington and Contributing Editor for Hybrid Pedagogy, Publishing Division. He is also the lead author of Open Music Theory.
